Qmadix Smudge Free Device Cleaning Kit Review

The greatest thing about touch screen devices is that they are reactive to your fingertips without needing any input devices…and the worst thing is that they all appear to be fingerprint magnets.

Since my iPad is never far from my side and my phone is my lifeline to the world, I thought I had tried just about every screen cleaning product on the market. From pocket wipes to specialty made cloths, there are hundreds of products available to combat those pesky fingerprints on your touch screen devices.  The Qmadix Smudge Free Device Cleaning Kit is an alternative to just using a cloth to tackle the smudges.

Qmadix says that their cleaning kit “is formulated to safely clean your device from smudges, dirt, grime and makeup.” The kit is unique in that the dry foam “utilizes smudge-resistant properties that help minimize the transfer of most smudges.” I decided to test the product on a smartphone, an iPad and an LCD monitor.

I was very impressed with the ease that the foam and Anti-Microbial cloths removed the smudges from the screen and surprised that there was no residue or streaks left after cleaning. The kit comes with two (2) Anti-Microbial cloths treated with DURABAN. Qmadix says that the cloths are machine washable up to 50 times without losing the effectiveness of the Anti-Microbial treatment. DURABAN is built-in antimicrobial protection for products so that the cloths are not just cleaning the screen, they are providing an added level of protection against damaging microbes such as bacteria, mold, mildew, fungus, and algae. The cloths are also anti-static and dust resistant and the micro-fiber makeup makes cleaning the cracks and crevices of your device a snap.

Overall I was very impressed by the Smudge Free Device Cleaning Kit from Qmadix. I found it very easy to use and it delivered the clean that they promised with no streaks or residue. The size (3 oz) means it can be carried on a plane and the machine washable cloths make this product have an extended life span.

The kit did a great job on all three devices that I tried it on, and at only $14.99 it is a bargain for the job delivered, This product gets a 9 out of 10 stars from the gang here at TRG.
