One of my biggest pet peeves is when I put my headphones away and then when I need them again, they have magically become all tangled and I have to spend 10 minutes just trying to untangle them. Now, I won’t have to. When I was at CES, I met Belal and Aqua and they were extremely nice and eager to show us their creation. Their creation is the iHeadCase, an iPhone 4/4S case that keeps your headphones neatly wound up all while keeping your iPhone protected.
Right now, they have two cases that work with the iPhone, the Hard Shell and the Wallet. The Hard Shell (pictured above) fits nicely on the back of your phone. It keeps your headphones wound up, and keeps the aesthetically pleasing appearance. It adds a curve to the back of the device (similar the look and feel of the iPhone 3G/3GS), and has proper cutouts for all of your ports/buttons (volume, mute, home, dock connector, speakers, etc.) as well as an opening for your camera. The Hard Shell is very sturdy and feels like it would protect your device if you dropped it. Also, if you flip back the cover for the headphones, it doubles as a hands-free landscape viewing stand.
The iHeadCase Wallet has tons of functionality, allowing you to keep your headphones safely wound up and concealed, and also being able to keep your ID, credit cards, business cards, etc. all in your phone case. This case is made out of polyurethane, or faux-leather, and is animal-friendly. This case is designed to make your iPhone not only look nice, but to protect it as well. As well as having the covering on the back, it also has a front cover that protects your screen from everyday accidents like scratches, scuffs, etc.
The iHeadCases are currently only available for the iPhone 4/4S, but Belal and Aqua are planning on making these awesome cases available for devices from: Blackberry, Samsung, HTC, Nokia as well as iPod and iPod touch.
Now, this is where you come in. Belal and Aqua need your help, because the iHeadCase is currently only a Kickstarter project. As of right now (Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:20 PM), they are at $26,832 out of their $30,000 goal. The project will only be funded if they can reach their goal by this Friday, February 17, 2012. So, go and help them out, and you can even get some of these cases before the hit stores and for a lower price.
