Sound Step/Sound Step Recharge Lightning and Sound Rise Lightning
The Sound Step/Sound Step Recharge Lightning being released by Soundfreaq this week is capitalizing on Soundfreaq’s ever-so-popular Sound Step/Sound Step Recharge, and in addition, a new version of the Sound Rise, consequently called the Sound Rise Lightning, will be unveiled this week as well. The Sound Step/Sound Step Recharge Lightning is a compact speaker system with a seven hour rechargable batery, and the new Sound Rise Lightning is a 3-in-1 bedroom speaker, radio, and alarm clock with a built in dock that allows owners of the iPhone 5 or the iPad Mini to charge their devices – the first of its kind manufactured by Soundfreaq.
Sound Platform 2
Following suit by releasing newer versions of the Sound Step/Sound Step Recharge and Sound Rise, Soundfreaq is also releasing a newer version of their Sound Platform speaker – the Sound Platform 2. This device features DSS (Dual System Streaming) technology, which allows two systems to work together, creating one speaker system with both right and left audio. Additionally, the new Sound Platform 2 enhances bass at higher volumes, has larger speakers than the previous model, and has Tone Control as well as UQ3 spatial enhancement, overall drastically improving audio quality. Other characteristics of the Sound Platform 2 include two USB charging ports, allowing two devices to charge simultaneously, a Universal Device Tray that slides out and holds any device while charging, and also is compatible with an additional battery pack that will allow up to 7 hours of AC-free usage. When asked to talk about Soundfreaq’s new Sound Platform 2, Matthew Paprocki, co-founder and creative director of Soundfreaq, replied,
“Sound Platform 2 was re-designed to complement today’s smart devices. In the post-iPod era, the device landscape is much more diverse with 30-pin and Lightning Apple devices, Android phones, tablets and a host of other exciting mobile entertainment devices. We wanted to design a speaker that would work equally well with all of these devices. Sound Platform 2 is packed with clever features and acoustic power.”
At CES, Soundfreaq is located at Booth #4110 in the Lower Level North Hall. They will be showcasing their devices this week, willingly demonstrating that just like their mission statement says, they are able to “deliver premium sound for a wireless world.”
