Our quest to find the greatest gadgets continued on day 2 of CES 2013 and today we walked 3 miles of trade show (according to our trusty pedometer). Our focus on unique companies and their products paid off and we found some real gems for you.
Smallworks Brickcase – Cell phone cases line the aisles here at CES…seriously, there are jillions of them. It takes something different to turn your head as you walk by and these folks figured it out. Take a cell phone case, add the ability to build on it using legos…and you can attract a crowd. Fun product that is surprisingly simple and grabbed our attention.
Cellairis – So maybe we are a little biased because this company is Georgia based (like we are) but their products are amazing and the traffic they were experiencing in their booth is a testament to that. Cellairis has a great line of phone cases and accessories that have great fashion appeal and the fact that they have “The Beeb” (Justin Bieber for those not hip) himself as an endorser doesn’t hurt. We’re going to be reviewing the Cellairis Shout! product soon so keep an eye out here for it.
Skech – We’ve know Skech’s product line for awhile but a new product they have really caught our eye. They are embedding the PowerMat wireless charging technology into many of their cases and it open ups the ability to use that charging medium for so many more customers. We will let you know when this hits the market and where you can snatch it up.
Ballistic – As longtime fans of the great corner protection that Ballistic provides, we were very impressed with the SG MAXX series and the protection it provides. Ian did a full story on it that you can check out here.
TYLT – We love people who look at things differently….like we do. TYLT does just that and they have taken the products that we use everyday and added their own twist and flair to make them better. You can read more about that here.
Other World Computing (OWC)- If you’ve been reading TRG for awhile then you know that we have ongoing relationship and admiration for the products from OWC. We were in their booth and able to see what is out there now and can’t wait to share it with you.
Earloomz - One buzzword that we keep hearing this year at CES is ‘fashion’. Every product wants to be fashionable or have a fashion icon attached to it. The people over at Earloomz have succeeded and their fashion line and product licensing is second to none. We encourage all of our readers looking for a fashionable fit for a bluetooth headset to give them a look.
Two days left and a million square feet to go….Ian & I will find you the best of the best and tell you all about it. Keep checking back!
